Alexandra Stan was born on June 10, 1989 in Constanta (star sign: Gemini). According to the Mr Saxobeat Songfacts, her talent for music was discovered at an early age, as a child she took part of a lot of competitions, notably at the Mamaia Festival where she impressed the audience with her versatile voice.
In 2009 she released her debut single Lollipop, but it was the follow-up Mr Saxobeat, which really ignited her career, becoming Stan’s first number one single in her home country and entering the singles charts all over Europe.
