Gloria Tang Zhi-Kei (born 16 August 1991), commonly known by her stage name G.E.M., which stands for Get Everybody Moving, is a singer-songwriter from Hong Kong.

Born in Shanghai, G.E.M. moved to Hong Kong at the age of 3. Ever since the age of 5 G.E.M. has been writing songs. When she was 10, she started entering numerous amounts of singing competitions. She was awarded 9 major awards within her debutante year (2008). She won in major inter-school singing competitions. She first appeared on screen as an actress in the famous Taiwanese drama "Dou Yu II" (Fighting Fish II).

G.E.M. finished level 8 piano when she was 13.

G.E.M. graduated from True Light Girls' College.

In 2006, G.E.M. participated in a competition called "Spice it Up" and won first place. Her manager, Tan Chang noticed her talent during the competition and signed a contract with her. She thus became a singer at the age of 16. [1] [2]

In 2009, G.E.M. appeared on episodes 27 and 28 of Boom Boom Ba (耳分高下) with Amigo as her partner. G.E.M. appeared on episode 6 of Beautiful Cooking 2(美女廚房 2) with Det Di (狄易達).

In May, G.E.M. went to Los Angeles, California to record her second album and has returned to Hong Kong.

In December, G.E.M. went to Toronto and Richmond Hill, Canada, for her first Mini-Concert in Canada on the 28th as well as autographing session in Pacific Mall, Markham, Canada on the 29th.
