Stratovarius / Биография
Stratovarius is a Finnish power metal band founded in 1984 in Helsinki, was one of the pioneers of Power Metal and Symphonic and Melodic Metal, mixed classical music with Heavy Metal, which gave rise to a generation of new groups that will pay tribute. Managed to sell 3.5 million records more than 120 songs and over 1200 shows, Stratovarius is characterized as the second best band most important and rapidly in Europe.
The name of Stratovarius is a compound of two names associated with musical instruments: Stradivarius (name of the famous Italian luthier, whose violins are prized by musicians) and Stratocaster (model Fender guitar brand, widely used in modern rock). Some of the most classic Stratovarius albums are: Black Diamond, Father Time, Paradise, SOS, Hunting High and Low, Eagleheart.
